Khanna on 5-day tour of Jammu province

Jammu, Sept 9: Member of Parliament & Jammu and Kashmir Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna is undertaking 5-day tour of Jammu Province from Tuesday onwards alongwith State President Jugal Kishore Sharma and other senior leaders.
A per a release, Mr Khanna is reaching Lakhanpur on the morning of September 10 and he will hold meeting with the party leaders of Kathua and Samba districts enroute Jammu.
He is scheduled to visit Doda, Paddar and Kishtwar to have meetings with the party leaders besides visiting the riots hit areas of Kishtwar to interact with the affected people and take stock of the losses caused to their residential houses and business establishments.
Khanna will also visit Nowshera to meet the local Party leaders and will also hold separate meetings with the BJP State Election Committee and Core Group at Jammu besides attending a public programme at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra in Talab Tillo area of Jammu city.
BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, elaborating on the rational of 5-day tour, said that the party headquarters  has directed the State Prabhari and other leaders to devote more time to their state’s  of responsibility and reach the party leaders holding different responsibilities in their respective mandal and districts and compile the feedback about the Party’s position, organizational setup and the suggestions of the grass root workers to chalk out a strategy aimed at winning maximum Assembly seats in the next elections. He said Khanna is well aware of the geographic and political scenario of Jammu and Kashmir as he has already visited all the three regions of the state during the past six months. The State unit is confident of securing the desired results under his able and inspiring guidance, said Sharma.
