JAMMU, Oct 23: Bhoomi Pujan for construction of Government Higher Secondary School building, Rehal was performed by Romesh Khajuria,ViceChairman , Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) Ministry of Textiles Government of India , Member: National Working Committee Gau Parkoshat and Seh-Sanyoyak , Gau Parkoshat , Delhi Pardesh.
The newly constructed block will cost about Rs 50 lac under Samagra Shiksha by Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India .
Khajuria complimented Prime Minister, Narender Bhai Modi for showing his concern over the education system in J&K. Naib Sarpanch , Panches , Vice Principal of the School along with staff were also present on the occasion. The efforts of late Sarpanch Tirath Ram for development of the Panchayat were also put on record on the occasion.
Prominent citizens of the Panchayat present on the occasion were Raghunandan Sharma, Pandit Vidhya Sagar Sharma, Mohan Lal Moni, Ashok Gupta, Ashok Sharma and others .
