JAMMU, July 2: Former president, JK BJP and senior party leader, Ashok Khajuria has lambasted the Kashmiri leaders of so called mainstream parties of accusing the security forces for the killing of a civilian in Sopore yesterday.
Taking serious exception to the statements of some Valley based politicians, Ashok Khajuria said instead of blaming security forces the should have shown guts to condemn the terrorism and terrorists who have brought the death and destruction not only in Kashmir but entire J&K.
He said it is unfortunate on the part of these leaders that knowing fully what is reality and what are the facts they ignore the same by giving a clean chit to terrorists and secessionist forces who have waged a war with the nation.
Khajuria said had the so called mainstream leadership in Kashmir the courage and guts it was high time for them to launch a front against the terrorism and secessionism and ask the people not to give refuge to any gunman but throw him out as they fully know that the terrorists have made entire J&K to bleed for last 30 years and brought its economy to a grinding halt besides making thousands of women widows and children orphan.
He said the brave Indian forces and J&K Police which has taken exemplary action against the terrorists needed to be rewarded instead of putting fingers of suspicion on them. It was the Police Inspector who played on his life to save the little grandson of slain person and the officers deserves all applauds, he added.
Khajuria said these leaders forget that these are the security forces and jawans of the police who play on their lives to ensure the security of the leaders and common masses and pointing fingers of suspension on them is totally shameful which no nationalist Indian will tolerate, Khajuria added.
Khajuria asked these leaders to behave properly and show courage to denounce terrorist action by exposing them and their over ground supporters in the larger interests of common masses of Kashmir who too suffered over the three decades through their hands.
