JAMMU, Apr 28: Veteran BJP leader and Legislative Council member Ashok Khajuria was today shifted to Medanta-The Medicity hospital in Gurgaon after his blood sugar levels went down, leading to some related problems, at his residence here yesterday.
Khajuria, a two-time MLA from Jammu East and presently the MLC, was taken ill at his residence yesterday and immediately shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, where he was kept under intensive care of senior doctors.
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr Jitendra Singh today visited Khajuria in Medanta and enquired his condition.
Reports said Khajuria was undergoing several tests in the hospital.
