JAMMU, Oct 4: Shree Rashtriya Rajput Kerni Sena today staged a massive protest demonstration at Jourian in Akhnoor against the statement of J&K LG regarding jobs to militants if they shun violence.
Raghuvir Singh, Sena president led the protest and said it is very disappointing that youth of J&K was expecting justice after the revocation of Article 370 and 35-A but the situation is still the same.
He said the statement of LG is an insult to the nationalist youth of J&K.
“The Lieutenant Governor should focus on employment for educated unemployed youth of J&K rather than offering jobs to terrorists,” Singh maintained.
Thakur Hoshiar Singh, Sena Spokesperson said unemployment rate in J&K is at the top with daily wagers, NYC, SPOs and thousands more are on roads demanding jobs but the LG is ignoring all of these and is offering jobs to militants.
He said that youth of Jammu is already frustrated because of unemployment and such kinds of statements can provoke the nationalist youth also to adopt the path of violence.
Hoshiar Singh said the LG should take back his words else Kerni Sena will hold series of protests across J&K.
Anchal Singh, General Secretary Karni Sena; Jagdish Singh, District President; Rajveer Singh, General Secretary; Pawan Singh, Vice President; Arjun Singh, Kulwant Singh, Meena Chib, Sahil, Aman, Vishawjeet, Parveen, Amrita, Reeta and others were also present in the protest demonstration.
