KCCI delegation meets TCS Global Head

SRINAGAR, Apr 17: A delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) led by its president Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad today held an interactive meeting with V Ramaswamy, senior vice president and Global Head of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and other representatives of the Tata Group at Taj Vivanta.
The meeting was facilitated by Department of Industries and Commerce through Mehmood Shah, Director, Kashmir. Discussions were held to explore possibilities of business collaborations, training and developmental programmes. The sectors of healthcare, education, horticulture, handicrafts, gem and jewellery, food-processing and tourism were discussed in detail.
V Ramaswamy briefed the Chamber delegation about the various schemes and capacity building programmes under consideration of the Tata Group for J&K State. After taking detailed inputs from members of the delegation, Ramaswamy informed the members that they would be developing the inputs received and would be coming back with concrete proposals and schemes.
