KCC&I appeals Governor to consider suggestions on SMP

SRINAGAR, July 28: In view of the deadline issued by the Government for finalizing Srinagar Master Plan, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I) today expressed hope that their suggestions would be taken into consideration.
A KCCI spokesman in a statement said that KCC&I President, Javid Ahmad Tenga while appreciating the Governor administration on having fixed 30 days deadline for finalization of Srinagar Master Plan, has expressed hope that the suggestions/feedback submitted by the KCC&I to the Government on the plan, in February this year will be given due consideration.
He said these suggestions/ feedback were also discussed by the Chamber delegation led by its President, with B. B. Viyas Advisor to Governor recently in a meeting with him. The Advisor has assured that all the suggestions will be taken due care of.
“We appeal to the Governor to get the Master Plan implemented within this given deadline as Srinagar city is suffering for various civic facilities,” he added.
