JAMMU, Dec 7: Students of Middle Classes of KC Public School staged two English Plays at Ram Chand Mahajan Open Air Theatre, under the aegis of Mandua Theatre Club, here.
Students of Class 6th-F presented ‘Gifts for a King” adapted from a short story in their course in English Language Language, while students of Class 8th A performed the famous court scene from Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’ in modern dress.
Sunita Bhagat from AIR Jammu graced the occasion as a special guest.
Bhagat gave away participation certificates to the students and praised them for their excellent histrionic talent. Acting as a judge, she declared Aryan Narula, Sadhvi Rajput and Kshitij Sangotra as the best actors in the Class 6th Play AND Aarushi Sharma and Aryan Sharma in the Class 8th Play.
