JAMMU, Oct 1: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today asserted that the sort of development J&K has witnessed in these five years was not witnessed before.
Kavinder Gupta was addressing a gathering while starting blacktopping of road at Ward 55 Jeevan Nagar Green Avenue Extension. The work would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 65 lakh.
He said that the successive Governments of NC and Congress have failed to initiate any step for the development of J&K and the people were deprived of basic amenities like drinking water, regular power supply and good road network. He asserted that the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT) under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is now fast marching on the path of development and the Government’s policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwas’ is being implemented on ground there.

He solicited the cooperation of the people in realizing the dream of making the J&K economically vibrant and prosperous.
The former Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the people to get united and support Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and UT Government’s proactive measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus contagion and strictly follow guidelines issued on various occasions, as without cooperation of citizens it would be hard to achieve desired results of making India free from COVID-19.
