JAMMU, Oct 23: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has reiterated the BJP Government’s commitment to address the issues of every section of the society.
He expressed this while addressing a gathering during a function in which he inaugurated a tube-well at Taxi Stand in Ward No: 51 here today. The tube-well has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 40 lakh. Raj Kumar Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Vinay Gupta Jammu district BJP president, Narinder Koki, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Kehar Singh Charak, Ballu Sharma, Pappu Gujjar, president Taxi Union, Executive Engineer, Anil Gupta, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), V K Trikha and Junior Engineer (JE), Vivek Kohli were also present on the occasion.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction of the tube well in the Ward was a long pending demand of the people of the area especially the taxi operators of the Taxi Stand in this Ward. He said that the completion of this project has brought relief to the people of the area. He asserted that addressing the problems of the common people has always been the priority of the Bharatiya Janata Party Government led by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at the Centre as serving the people of the nation is the core of BJP’s unmatched ideology.
Kavinder stated that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government stands commitment to the overall development of all the areas so that all the areas move ahead in consonance at par with each other. He said that the Prime Minister is specially inclined towards Jammu and Kashmir and its people and that there is no dearth of funds when it comes to the development of the UT.
Kavinder said that under the incumbent BJP Government at the Centre and the Union Territory administration led by Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha great strides are being taken in development thus transforming the entire landscape and scenario of the Union Territory. He said that there are more projects in pipeline for the area and the same will be taken up in a phased manner.
