Kavinder inspects ongoing works at Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, Aug 5: Former Dy. CM and MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta conducted an extensive tour of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
During the tour, Gupta inspected the ongoing work of lanes and drains at Sector 5, Ward 42, Nanak Nagar. He directed the concerned for early completion of the works being carried over there. This was the long pending demand of the locals.
Many prominent citizens of the area met Gupta and put forth their other problems. Kavinder assured public that the works undertaken will be completed in a time bound manner to benefit the locals at the earliest and other demands shall be met out soon. Gupta also stressed for the optimum utilisation of electricity and water.
He stressed for ensuring transparency in the working of the departments and asked the concerned officers to submit the status reports regularly to his office. He asked the officers to adopt cost efficient methods for quality work.
Gupta visited Ekta Vihar Ward 56 where he inspected the lane and drains work. He was apprised with the local problems like power fluctuation during peak hours, Irregular water supply, leakage of water pipes, Sanitation problem being faced by inhabitants and street lighting the area. Gupta listened to the problems of the locals and assured their all their demand would be met out in phased manner in the shortest possible time.
Kavinder also visited Babliana area his constituency yesterday, where he inspected the completed work of the bathrooms and newly installed 250 KVA transformer. The work for the bathrooms have been completed from the CDF and MPLAD of Jugal Kishore Sharma MP Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha. Locals complimented Gupta for the fulfilment of the demand. During his address in the public meet there Gupta assured the locals that all other demands of macadamization and other works shall shortly be taken up for the execution.
Applauding the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his keen interest in the development of the State, Kavinder Gupta said that GoI has been providing liberal funding to the State so that various developmental projects underway were completed in a time bound manner. Stressing on the need for development of rural areas, Gupta said that many development projects are underway to develop the peripheral pockets of his Constituency.
