JAMMU, June 8: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today toured Gandhi Nagar Constituency and took stock of basic amenities at Langer village and its adjoining areas.
During tour Kavinder distributed 500 face masks, sanitizers, soaps and eatables to the needy people of the area wherein the distribution event was organized by BJP District Kissan Morcha.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta lauded medical staff, police, security forces, employees of PDD, Jal Vibagh and CAPD doing selfless service in tough times.
He said without co-operation of public there shall be hindrances in controlling the further spread of COVID-19.
“So it is advisable to follow the principle of social distancing in daily routine works. Public has to control the unnecessary visits to market places, social gatherings etc,” he maintained.
Gupta appealed to public to follow the guidelines notified by the Government to control further spread of COVID-19.
President Kissan Morcha, Omi Khajuria; Nand Kishore, District BJP President; Vinay Gupta and Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee of JMC, Baldev Billawria also accompanied Kavinder Gupta.
