JAMMU, June 27: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today dedicated separate and additional 100 KVA transformer and substation in presence of Commandant CRPF-K.D. Joshi to the CRPF camp of 160 Battalion at Chatha.
Gupta in his address to the officials and local residents present on the occasion said that adjoining civil areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years and they also faced power fluctuations, so for fulfilling demands of the locals of the area such step of installing a separate 100 KVA has been taken by the CRPF authorities to solve the power problem.
Gupta complimented and honoured the CRPF warriors, who are performing their duties, in true spirits by assisting local police and civil administration to control the spread of Corona Virus since its eruption by risking their lives for the sake of citizens. The whole of India is passing through tough times to fight with the threat of Corona Virus, to stop the spread of infection by following the guidelines issued by Government from time to time. It would not have been possible without the constant vigil of warriors in Khakhi uniforms.
Gupta complimented the CRP officers, who are at the forefront in this valiant battle for humanity. Their undiluted courage, selflessness, determination has ensured that India remains in its track in its fight against Corona, he said adding that they are tirelessly and with deep dedication displaying an unshakable faith and conviction that Corona can be defeated and India can emerge victorious in this fight against COVID-19.
Commandant 160 BN CRPF- K.D Joshi, 2nd incharge R.L Fimate and A. K. Rai, Deputy Commandants- Ajay Kumar, and J.P. Singh were prominent among others who were honoured on the occasion.
Kavinder expressed his pleasure to recognize the services of Healthcare professionals busy in saving lives, police for ensuring people to following the lockdown, media in bringing all the happenings of the country and the world related about Corona Virus to all while at home. “It is our proud privilege to serve humanity, in this hour of need, and pray to come out as soon as possible,” Gupta said.
BJP leaders district president, Vinay Gupta, Pitamber Sharma, Raju Sharma, Rishu Langhey and Girdhari Lal were prominent among those who accompanied Gupta on the occasion.
