JAMMU, Sept 16: To provide clean drinking water to the people, Sarpanch, Balvir Kour today started construction work of tube-well at village Treva which shall be completed with an expenditure of Rs. 3.29 crore.
Speaking on the occasion Kour said that clean drinking water is the basic necessity of public and the same was demanded by the people of her Panchayat for which she made continuous efforts to get sanctioned the tube well and finally the work on it has started.
She said that by the end of this year all households of her Panchayat will have the facility of clean drinking water.
Kaur thanked J&K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and all officials of PHE Department who played a crucial role for the project.
Officials of PHE Department, Naib Sarpanch, Panches and other prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion.
