JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Feb 15: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 64 Corona positive cases while 69 others recovered from the virus as Kathua and Ramban districts now have zero active positive cases.
Only 11 fresh cases were reported in the Jammu region—eight in Jammu district and three in Udhampur. No new COVID positive cases were reported from eight other districts of the region today.
Ten persons today recovered from the virus including eight in Jammu district and two in Udhampur.
As per the official data, Kathua and Ramban districts have become Corona-free unless fresh positive cases are reported from there. Kishtwar district has only one active COVID case.
Jammu region now has 51769 Corona cases. Among them, 161 are active positives while 50883 have recovered from the virus and there have been 725 casualties.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 53 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 35 from Srinagar, 3 Baramulla, 3 Budgam, 5 Pulwama, 1 Anantnag, 1 Bandipora, 2 Kulgam and 3 from Shopian.
The number of cases in Kashmir division have reached 73,636 including 71,954 recoveries and 1,226 deaths.
The total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 617 including 456 from Kashmir division.
With 69 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 122,837, which is 97.96 percent of the total cases.
