Kathua Police rescues 12 bovine animals

JAMMU, Feb 17: In continuation to its drive launched against smuggling of bovine animals, Kathua police rescued 12 bovine animals today.
Reacting swiftly on a specific information late last night a  Police party of Police Station Kathua laid a naka at Palli Morh and intercepted one TATA Vehicle with Registration Number HP38C 7349 which was carrying 12 bovine animals.
The police rescued all bovine animals. The driver of the vehicle Murad Ali S/o Teg Ali Gujjar resident of Julaki Mohalla Meen Sarkar near Sarore bridge Bari Brahamana , district Samba was also arrested. A Case FIR No. 70/2016 U/S 188 RPC, 3/22 PCA Act stands registered at Police Station Kathua against him.
