KATHUA, Apr 17: Kathua police today recovered a kidnapped minor girl and arrested one person in this connection.
Police said its team led by SHO Police Station (PS), Malhar Inspector, Tariq Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Billawar, Arvind Kumar – managed to recover a kidnapped minor girl of Billawar appearing to be of 16 years and succeeded in arresting one accused namely Makhan Din, son of Hussain of Godu Flail, tehsil Lohai Malhar from Lakhanpur Kathua.
A Case FIR No.07/2022 U/S 363 IPC has been already registered at PS Malhar on the written complaint of Girdhari Lal, son of Basu of Baggan tehsil Billawar. During investigation and with the help of technical data today police party of PS Malhar finally managed to recover the minor girl and arrested the accused involved. Thereafter minor girl was immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completing all legal formalities and further investigation is going
