Kathua, Dec 26: Continuing its efforts to reach out the needy people, Police Kathua police distributed COVID-19 safety Kits among the BPL and poor families at Lakhanpur in Kathua district.
On the occasion , Additonal SP Kathua Ramnish Gupta JKPS, along with K D Bhagat DySP DAR Kathua , Inspector Sanjeev Chib SHO Lakhanpur and other officers took part in the distribution function at PS Lakhanpur. The items in the Covid safety kits include masks, sanitizers, oxymeters, Inhalers, Digital Thermometers, multivitamins ,soaps, face shields and other related items like LED Bulbs were also distributed among the 50 poor and needy families in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lakhanpur.
The technical know how with respect to the usage was also explained to the beneficiaries on spot by the medical officer. The Additional SP Kathua added that such efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Police to serve the general public in every able aspect will continue in future also and such kits will be distributed in the jurisdiction of other police stations of Kathua district to the poor families also.
