KATHUA, Feb 28: Kathua police today arrested a hardcore criminal who is involved in various criminal activities in the district.
Police said one person namely Makhan Din, son of Swaran Din of Chack Desa Choudhrian, tehsil Marheen, district Kathua who was involved in a series of criminals activities and is a hard core criminal was arrested by Rajbagh Police.
Besides, heinous crimes he was involved in bovine smuggling including serious offences and crime that disrupt peace of the area, posing danger to human life and disturbance in public order. Cases were registered against him under various FIRs in different Police Stations of the district, police said.
He has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and sent to at Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu, police said. He was arrested by a team of police led by Inspector, Rajeshwer Singh Salathia SHO, Police Station, Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO Border Chadwal, Deeraj Kotoch and under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua.
