KATHUA, July 4: The irate people of Kathua today protested against the opening of wine shop in front of All India Radio in the town and warned a massive agitation against the same.
The protesters including men, women and children said the opening of wine shop in the residential area will create a public nuisance there and they will not allow the same. They warned to launch a massive agitation against the administration move which they alleged was hell bent to create a public nuisance in the area.
The protesters raising slogans against the Excise Department and administration said that they are in league with the proprietor of the wine shop and gave him permission to open the same in the town after its closure on National Highway.
