JAMMU, Nov 26: Chairman, OBC Cell of Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and Executive Member, PCC, Madan Lal Kashyap, today visited various villages of Raipur Domana Constituency and appealed the people to vote and support Congress candidate Mula Ram.
While addressing the people at Purkhoo, Jhiri, Dhub, Rajpura Mandi and Manyal Brahmana areas of the constituency, Kashyap highlighted the role played by the Congress party for the development of the Country.
While discussing the present scenario, he said BJP is raising hollow slogans but nothing has been done in removing the miseries of the common people. It is only the Congress party that has done remarkable development during Chief Ministership of Ghulam Nabi Azad, he added.
Alleging that Congress candidate of the constituency, Mula Ram is a local, dedicated, honest and matured politician, he impressed upon the voters to vote en-mass in his favour.
Observing that OBCs raised serious objection over non-inclusion of OBC community’s grievances in Congress Manifesto, Kashyap requested High Command that revised manifesto be released in which demands of the OBC community like enhancement of reservation upto 10%, political reservation and skill development of OBC women, should be included.
Ex-chairman, Kashyap Jagriti Manch, Prof BL Bhardwaj, Shiv Dayal and Shakti Kashyap also did door-to-door campaign for Mula Ram and sought vote for him.
