JAMMU: A Kashmiri youth was detained under mysterious circumstances along the international border in Ranbir Singh Pura area of this winter capital of the State.
”A youth identified as Umar Ashraf Bhat (28) of Pattan, Baramulla in Kashmir was detained today from Octroi Post, when he reached near the international border,” police sources here said. They said he was detained and shifted to the police station.
”As per him, he was on way to Delhi in his car, but misguided by a pedestrian, from whom he asked the route for reaching Satwari,” police added. They said he seems to be a ‘druggist,’ but the matter is being investigated. (AGENCIES)
