Kashmiri play Lal Ded staged at Jagti township

JAMMU, Mar 21: Lal Ded a Kashmiri play was staged at Jagti township today by J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society in which a galaxy of artists from displaced KP community performed.
Ashok Kumar Pandit , Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants, Jammu was chief guest on the occasion while Kapil Khajuria and Rahul Sharma camp commandants of Jagti were guests of honour and Anita Chandpuri was the special guest.
The story of the play was based on the life of Kashmiri saint poetess ”Laleshwari” popularly known as Lal Ded who was the great mystic and Shiv Sadak.
Renowned Kashmiri artist Jai Krishan Koul Bezaan, Jatinder Jotshi, Neetu Dhar, Pumy Zuthsi, Suneeta Bhat, Vinay Pandita, Rahul Pandita, Ravi Dhar, Shoki Lidhoo, Aryan, Romil, Ayush, Raghav and Mohit acted in the play while set was designed by Veer Ji Sumbli, make up was done by Pintoo and Krishna. Movies camera and still photo lights by Ramesh Pandita and Mohit Rawal, sound by Vishal Raina and costume by Kamal Sagar. Jatinder Jotshi was associate Director.
The play was written and directed by J K Koul Bezaan. The artists mesmerized the audience and made them spell bound with their art and skill.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Ashok Pandita presented mementos to artists, social activists and technical team. The mementos were also presented to chief guest and guests of honour by the organisers.
The programme was organised by Susheel Bhat under overall supervision of Vijay Raina chairman, JK Bhoomi HumanWelfare Society.
