JAMMU, Mar 21: Inter-District Taekwondo Championship for Under-17 and 19 boys was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here today.
The championship was organised under the patronage of Director, YS&S Gazanffer Ali and under the supervision of DYSSO, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
Atul Pangotra (International Referee) was the convenor of the technical committee along with members including Brinder Singh Manhas (National Referee), Nitin Singh Rathore (National Referee), Rajinder Singh (National Referee) and Pushap Thakur (National Referee).
The DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma congratulated medallists and participants for showcasing their true spirit towards Taekwondo.
Jammu district remained overall winner, while Poonch and Budgam stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. Later, the prizes were distributed among the medallists as well as winning teams by the dignitaries.
