This has a reference to “Nitty-Gritty of Kashmir Track-II” by Dr K N Pandita, DE May 20, 2014.
Dr Pandita has made a startling revelation about S.K. Lambah’s speech in Kashmir University on May 13, 2014. Mr Lambah former Diplomat and Special envoy on Track-II talks with Pakistan on resolving is a Kashmir tangle. Since the venue, timing and the theme of lecture has been rightly termed intriguing by the learned author, the new Govt. is likely to assume charge on 26th of May 2014. As such this lecture about Kashmir situation is mere a concoction of lies, myths and specious argument.
The author has toiled hard to collect material and prove Lambahi revelations as concocted. General Musharraf of Pakistan after 9/11 sought US intervention in Kashmir as the price for siding with the U.S. The Defence Secretary Rums-field and later on Powell handed out subtle warnings to India that, “India would be in trouble if Kashmir issue was not resolved. This indicates that Lambah, delivered his speech on the basis of his and myths. In the same manner, he says Mumbai attack was not conducted by LeT, but by Al Qaeda. He further continues that Kashmir talks survived a string of deadly and high visibility attacks. Who made these attacks is big question.?
Lambah claim that, he is on the job since 2001 is a tale of concocted lies and perceptions. Musharraf has also confirmed that his country was talking to Indians. What for Ab. Rashid Shaheen, the NC leader has been shuttling between Islamabad and Srinagar almost every month. The State holders of Kashmir tangle, of which we are part and parcel, have every right to ask the new Government to clear these myths and spurious perceptions, conveyed by S K Lambah in Kashmir University. Dr Pandita is correct to call the Kashmir University Power House for generating and disseminating, separatist and secessionist ideology among the educated youth of Kashmir.
