Kashmir needs credible leadership to take youth along: Raman Suri

JAMMU, Mar 3: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Suri today seconded the statement of party general secretary Ram Madhav that Articles 35-A and 370 were being used as fodder by some Kashmir based leaders to fuel separatism.
He said the only way forward is presence of credible leaders in Kashmir who instead of exploiting sentiments of youth could take them along.
“Youth of Kashmir see peace and prosperity besides a bright future for themselves but for that they need a proper leadership which could help them achieve desired results”, he added.
In his statement issued here, Raman Suri said ample schemes launched by Union Government and institutions of repute established in Jammu and Kashmir were all aimed at giving young boys and girls a bright future.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started massive infrastructural projects in Jammu and Kashmir only to give the State better connectivity with rest of the world”, he said, adding that tunneling projects, four-laning projects, ring roads, separate division for Ladakh and University for Ladakh were all aimed to bring peace and prosperity in the State but some leaders were out to axe their grind only to stay relevant, which are not”, Suri maintained.
