SRINAGAR, June 14: BJP MP and incharge Jammu and Kashmir, Avinash Raj Khanna presided the meeting held at Rai Bagh in which scores of party workers participated.
Mr Khanna who is currently in Valley as part of Parliamentary delegation also interacted with party workers at different places.
The party workers apprised him about the situation in Valley. They told him that the base of the party is becoming stronger day by day and hopefully in the coming Assembly election the party will emerge victorious from Valley seats also.
Mr Khanna assured the workers of all possible help from the High Command and told them that BJP will leave no stone unturned in making a mark in the State. He said Kashmir which is the land of lotus and saffron is fertile for BJP.
Welcoming the decision of the BJP High Command for nominating Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as chief campaigner in the coming general elections Mr Khanna said that BJP will form Government both in State as well as in Centre.
He said the Kashmir will witness progress on the pattern of Gujarat and people will feel a big change in the coming future.
