KAS 2001 batch resolves to work for betterment of masses

JAMMU, Apr 25: After a gap of couple of years, KAS 2001 Batch held a get together in which officers from Civil, Police and Accounts Services participated.
This re-union of the batch was held just at the culmination of Darbar at Jammu so that maximum officers could meet one another after a long time.
Officers shared their experiences and especially Amit Sharma & Narinder Khajuria who had spent time on value-added programmes for specializing in e-Governance & Public Policy at IIM Indore and USA respectively mentioned about successful & inevitable models of Civil Administration in future.
Lot of emotional anecdotes were also shared by few officers of the likes of Bashir Ahmed Lone, Yougal Manhas, Hemkant Prashar, Pawan Parihar, Ghansham Singh talking about maintaining integrity and honour in the Civil Services.
It was unanimously resolved that a Directory of all batchmates will be brought out at the earliest and this KAS 2001 Re-Union will become a bi-annual affair before every Darbar Move. The proceedings of the get-together were conducted by Amit Sharma and Syed Muried Shah in a very special & poetic manner and the whole batch expressed gratitude to the organizers in ensuring this batch re-union.
All the officers expressed their resolve towards strengthening the foundation of fraternity feelings amongst batchmates and ensuring that officers work as a team for the betterment of masses.
