JAMMU, Oct 1: Grandparents Day was celebrated at Kartar Public School with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh, Patron, Ranjit Educational Trust was the chief guest while Ranjit Kour, Patron, Kartar Educational Trust was guest of honour. Nirmaljit Singh Amn, Chairman Kartar Public School, Harpreet Kour Secretary KPS and Manjula Dogra Principal of school were also present.
While speaking Ranjit Singh said that the theme of the skit presented by the students was very impressive and relevant to the importance of grandparents. He said that younger should get blessing from their elders while respecting and serving them in their daily life.
Nirmaljit Singh Amn while speaking on the occasion said that blessing of grandparents plays an important role in over all development of the young one giving introductory remarks about the success of his life.
