JAMMU, May 9: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu today convened a high level meeting of officers and committee members of Kailash Sewa Sangh Trust Bhaderwah to discuss the necessary arrangements for the forthcoming Annual Kailash Yatra commencing from August 22, 2014.
Divisional Commissioner impressed upon the officers to put in coordinated efforts for the smooth arrangements during the yatra period so that the pilgrims do not face any sort of inconvenience.
Various issues discussed in detail during the meeting include drinking water, transport, accommodation, electricity supply, tents availability, security arrangements, medicare facilities, supply of essential commodities besides various other necessary facilities for devotees were also discussed in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed other issues related to construction of motorable road from Chattargali to Chattri, Chattri to Rishidal, traditional road of yatra from Kalli Naag to Kailash Kund, helicopter service as per Machail Pattern, proper advertisement for yatra, medical/ veterinary facility during yatra period, etc.
Shantmanu said that there should be no lapse on part of the administration for facilitating the yatries so that more and more pilgrims will come for the yatra and pilgrimage tourism will expand in the area.

Rana besides Chairman Jammu Partyan Vikas Mandal Ravi Mahajan, President Kailash Sewa Sangh Trust H. K. Khajuria, Chairman Tourism Promotion Council V. K. Sehgal, Chairman Bhaderwah Tour & Travel Association B. B. Kotwal, Vice President Kailash Sewa Sangh Trust M. N. Kaul, Founder Member Koshal Zutish and Joginder Sharma attended the meeting.
