Kabir Jayanti celebrated with great enthusiasm

JAMMU, June 4: Kabir Jayanti was celebrated today with great enthusiasm in Jammu by Sadguru Kabir Dham, All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha and other social and religious organizations.
Sadgur Kabir Dham today celebrated 625th Parkash Divas of Sadguru Kabir Sahib at Headquarters of All J&K Megh Sabha, Old Rehari Jammu. Mahant Ajay Dass Gaddi Tata Nagar Jharkhand delivered religious preaching over the life education of Kabirji Maharaj.
Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma was chief guest of the function, while Yudhvir Sethi (vice president, J&K BJP) and Suneet Raina (Corporator of Ward Number 9) were guests of honor. All the guests threw light on the teaching of Kabirji Maharaj. Narinder Dat (president of Sabha), Rampaul (Ex-Minister), Ram Lal Bhagat, Amar Nath, Sham Lal, Parmver Bhagat and many others were also present on the occasion.
All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha commemorated the 625th Kabir Jayanti at Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah. The function was largely attended by people from all the districts of Jammu division especially from district Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Reasi.
On the occasion, a spiritual discourse was given on the philosophy of Kabir bani. President of the Sabha, FC Bhagat said that Kabir’s poetry is a reflection of his philosophy about life. Bhagat requested the general public to lead a life inspired by the philosophy of Kabir; the philosophy that is irrespective of any religion, caste or creed and based on equality amongst all.
Among others who also attended and spoke on the occasion were BR Kundal, Chief Secretary (Retired), Ashok Kumar Angurana IAS (Retired), GR Bhagat (senior vice president), Tilak Raj Bhagat, Chief Engineer (Retired), Gurdass Bhagat, Prof Ashok Bhagat, Tarsem Lal, Manohar Lal, DDC and BDC members, Sarpanchs, Panchs and all the office bearers.
Bhagat Mahasabha J&K unit organized a State level function for celebration of 625th Prakash Utsav of Kabirji Maharaj at Muthi. Followers/devotees of Sant Kabir from different parts of Jammu, Kashmir and Punjab participated in the function to pay homage to great sant of Bhakti Movement. The programme started with garlanding the portrait of Kabirji followed by spiritual discourse by Harmeet Singh. Raj Kumar Bhagat (National president, Bhagat Mahasabha) and Roshan Bhagat (coordinator), who had come from Jalandher to attend the function, spoke on the occasion and highlighted the achievements of the Sabha.
