UDHAMPUR, Aug 22: For the third consecutive year, Kabad Yatra from Gouri Kund to Sudhmahadev was organized by Mahadev Kabad Mandal in collaboration with Aware India Foundation, in which numbers of Shiv Bhakts participated.
Yatra started from holy temple of Maa Parvati, popularly known as Gouri Kund. All the participants covered the distance on foot. After reaching Sudhmahadev temple, first Jal abhishek was done amidst reciting of Mantras by Pandit Parshotam and others of Dharmarth Trust. At the last, Rudera- abhishek was performed in the temple.
Vimal Sharma, president Kabad Mandal and Aware India Foundation, informed that this Kabad Mandal takes out this Yatra every year with the blessings of Shree Shol Panishwar Sudhmahadev.
Those who participated from the Kabad Mandal, included Jatinder Sharma, Naval Sharma, Billo, Akansha Sharma, Arpit, Vikundal Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, Adv Rahul Jandial, Yash Paul Sharma, Anil Sharma, Mridul Sharma and others.
Pertinent to mention that in the holy month of Shavan, followers of Lord Shiva take out Kabad Yatras across the country.
