JAMMU, June 2: Jammu Kashmir Government Laboratory Technician Association here today in a meeting chaired by Aslam, Association president highlighted the demands of health employees.
These demands included Departmental Promotion Committee (Promotions) of all categories in the health department and resolving of the issue of Female Multi-Purpose Health Workers and other staff getting salaries under Head-2211.
Other demands included registrations of all the leftover Government Pharmacists as after the abrogation of Article 370, most the pharmacists are not getting registered by JK Pharmacy Council.
Speakers in the meeting demanded that all the leftover Government Pharmacists should be registered in the office of the Controller of Drug & Food Organization (JK Pharmacy Council).
Restoration of old pension scheme for all J&K employees on the analogy of neighbouring States was among other demands
The Association president asked all the health employees of Jammu Division to participate in Kaam Chhod Hartal and suspends the work in all health institutions of Jammu division on June 6, 2022 in support of genuine demands of health employees.
He said that emergency services shall be exempted from the preview of strike so that the patients should not suffer.
Sanjay Dubay, Naveen Sharma, Atul Nagar, Anwar Hussain, Daleep Bakshi, Sanjeet Singh Manhas, Sunil Kumar, J.P Singh and others were also present in the meeting.
