JAMMU, Feb 6: Science College Unit of Jammu Yuva Sangathan (JYS) today staged a protest demonstration demanding restoration of Dogra Certificate for the youth of Jammu.
The protesters gathered at the main gate of GGM Science College and raised slogans against in favour of their demands.
Talking to reporters JYS leader, Chetan Sharma said Dogra Certificate is the long pending demand of youth of Jammu as it facilitates the Dogra people living in J&K, Himachal and in some areas of Punjab during recruitment in security and Defence forces.
“In the year 2015 MoS PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh had said to fight for Dogra Certificate but soon he forgot his words,” Sharma claimed.
Meanwhile, President JYS Virender Singh has also demanded that the Government should again start issuing Dogra Certificates.
Avdesh, Raman, Priyanshu, Vansh and others were also present in the protest.
