JWAM to observe hunger strike for Domicile Certificate revocation

JAMMU, July 6: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists will observe hunger strike on July 9 demanding revocation of Domicile Certificate and giving J&K government jobs to the youths of J&K only.
Addressing a press conference here today JWAM president, Sunil Dimple demanded restoration of statehood to J&K.
He claimed that Domicile Certificate will make outsiders eligible for government jobs in J&K.
The JWAM leader also demanded complete revocation of SRO 202, reinstatement of terminated youths under SRO 24 and stopping the privatization of PDD and installation of smart meters and toll plazas.
He appealed all the political parties like NC, Congress, PDP, Apni Party, Shiv Sena, Ram Sena, Kranti Dal, Bar Association and Chamber of Industry and Commerce to clear their stand on Domicile Certificate so that a united platform could be constituted to fight for the restoration of statehood to J&K.
Dimple also demanded regularization of contractual lecturers, NHM employees, daily wagers of PHE, PWD, PDD and Aganwadi workers.
Chaman Pawar, Sita Ram Rakwal and Sandeep Sharma were also present in the press conference.
