JAMMU, Oct 6: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists led by their leader Sunil Dimple here today staged a protest demonstration against the alleged bungling in Fire & Emergency Services selection list.
The protesters said that out of 700 posts only 70 candidates from Jammu are selected and demanded cancelation of the list.
Addressing the protesters Dimple flayed LG’s job offer to militants and lambasted BJP government for rise in unemployment among the youths of Jammu.
“The LG’s job offer to militants has sent wrong message among the nationalist unemployed youth who is disappointed as the militants have killed our security personnel, cops and army-men on the direction of Pakistan.
The JWAM leader also demanded regularization of all the daily wagers, contractual lecturers and other such employees.
He alleged that the LG administration is playing with the future of educated youths of J&K particularly those of Jammu region and is making hollow promises of creating 50,000 jobs.
Dimple also demanded restoration of 4G internet services in J&K as the students are badly suffering in the absence of high speed internet.
He claimed that the government is disengaging 15,000 engineers of Self Help Groups.
Prominent among those present in the protest were Manjiet Anand, Chamn Pawar, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Rajinder Verma, Satpal Sharma, Rupesh Bhat, Om Parkash Sharma, Rajinder Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Anmol, Sanjeev Soi, Sachin and others.
