JWAM president meets RTO

JAMMU, Jan 22: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) president, Sunil Dimple, today  called upon Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Jammu, Arvind Kotwal and took up the matter of the revision of passenger fares with him.
Dimple discussed in detail with the RTO Jammu the need of revision of passenger fares and the worsening traffic problem in Jammu city and its outskirts. He said that the daily commuters including students, Government employees and traders are suffering a lot due to heavy fares.
JWAM president urged RTO Jammu for immediate reduction in passenger fares and freight charges so that the common man could take a sigh of relief.
He also urged the RTO to hold a survey and also submit a traffic mobile plan, of the circular roads, needs of flyovers, to the Govt to control the rising traffic problem in the Jammu city.
The RTO Jammu assured Sunil Dimple that within two three days he will submit a report regarding revision of fares to the Government.
