JWAM holds protest, demands CBI probe into Rasana case

JAMMU, May 7: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest demonstration demanding the Government to handover Rasana case to CBI.
Scores of activists of JWAM along with local people and traders today assembled on Janipur Road at New Plot and tried to take out a Tiranga rally. The protesting people raised slogans against the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and BJP Ministers, MLAs as well as MLCs.
Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, who was leading the protesters, demanded CBI inquiry into Rasana rape and murder case. He said that CBI probe is must in the case to provide justice to the victim girl as well as to ensure that no innocent person is made a scapegoat in the case.
He said also asserted to conduct Narco test of the crime branch officers and accused in the Rasana murder case. The protesters demanded resignation of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti from the Home port folio for mishandling the Rasana murder case and not deporting Rohingyas from Jammu.
Dimple appealed the people of Jammu region as well as all organizations from the region to out rightly reject and boycott the functions of BJP Ministers, MLAs and MLCs, and gherao them where ever they go to address the public rallies .
He served one week ultimatum to the Government to hand over Rasana case to CBI or face “Jammu Band”. Dimple also appealed all the organizations and the people of the State to remain united for the Jammu Band.
