JWAM holds protest against weak-kneed policies of UPA

JAMMU, May 4: The Jammu West Assembly Movement took out a protest rally against the Chinese incursion in Ladakh region and weak-kneed policies of Congress led UPA Government against both China and Pakistan.
The students of various schools, teachers and prominent citizens participated in the rally and expressed their anguish against the intrusion of PLA of China in Ladakh Region of the State and highhandedness of Pakistani Government which has killed two Indian prisoners lodged in Lahore jail during last two months.
The protestors raising slogans against UPA Government’s failure in safeguarding the borders of the country were demanding that PLA and Pakistan be crushed with iron hands.
Addressing the protestors Sunil Dimple president of Jammu West Assembly Movement said that China’s incursion has spread 800 sq kilometers and Chinese troops have reportedly reinforced their position in the Indian territory. He urged the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh along with Cabinet Committee on Security to visit BDO and have at and on study of the situation there created due to Chinese incursion.
He alleged that Prime Minister, Defense Minister, Home Minister and Foreign Minister are all busy in finding excuses over Chinese incursion.
Dimple said his organization will intensify the series of protests and take out protest marches against the Chinese incursion and expose the weak policies of the Government which reflect that India is a soft State.
He said it is a matter of grave concern that China which has entered 20 kilometres inside Indian territory in Ladakh has refuted to withdraw and Indian Government is looking like a silent spectator.
He also urged the Government to break the diplomatic relations with China and lodge a strong protest against highhandedness of China and its Army in UN and inform the world body that Chinese action was a threat to world peace at large as over one billion Indians will not look as a mute spectator.
