JAMMU, Dec 18: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a strong anti-Pakistan protest against yesterday’s terrorist attack on the army convoy in Pampore and resultant killing of three army soldiers.
The protest was led by JWAM president, Sunil Dimple and was joined by a large number of people traders and women. The rally was also against the State Government for its total failure to control the militancy and also for grant of Ex-gratia relief in favor of the militants’ families. The protesters burnt the effigies of the Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief as well as Pakistan flags.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple expressed strong resentment against the failure of the BJP-PDP Government to end the 5-month Kashmir unrest. “Pakistan has started full-fledged war in J&K internally as well as on LoC”, dimple said and alleged that the Central Government has badly failed to give the befitting reply to the Pakistan and the State Government has badly failed to ensure the safety and security to the life and property of the people of the State.
He demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to impose Governor’s rule in J&K and handover the State to the Army to save it and its people from the more destruction. He also appealed PM to carry more surgical strikes in Pakistan to destroy the terrorists training camps in PoK.
Dimple alleged that the J&K is burning and the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is adopting a soft approach on the terrorism, militants and Pakistan, and has completely failed in the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
