JWAM demands restoration of Statehood

JAMMU, Mar 2: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a press conference here today JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple said that PM Modi should make an announcement in this regard in the ongoing session of the Parliament.
He also demanded assembly elections and start of political process in J&K and claimed that J&K has paid a heavy price after the abrogation of Article 370, 35-A and reorganization of the State into Union Territory.
Dimple claimed that in the absence of popular government in J&K all section of the society are leading a miserable life and facing lot of hardships.
He also demanded fresh delimitation of assembly constituencies and release of all the mainstream political leaders.
Satpal Kohli, Chuni Lal, Ram Kapoor, Vijay Khjuria, Bishan Singh and Sadam Husain were also present in the press conference.
