JWAM demands flyover from Rehari Chungi-Jewal Chowk

JAMMU, Sept 15: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against JMC, PWD and ERA.
Addressing protesters JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple claimed that Jammu West Assembly Constituency is the most backward and dirtiest Constituency of J&K.
He demanded flyover from Rehari Chungi to Jewal Chowk as there is traffic problems in the area.
Dimple claimed that condition of the road from Rehari Chungi to Exchange and Kachi Chawni is in very bad shape from the last nine months as it has been damaged by JMC, ERA and PWD leaving the people to face a lot of problems.
He demanded blacktopping of the road within a week otherwise they will start agitation.
The JWAM leader claimed that dust rising from the damaged road spoils things in adjoining shops and other business establishments and may cause breathing problems.
He further said that condition of lanes-drains is very poor in Rehari Mohalla, Dogra Hall area and other places in the city.
Dimple also demanded start of work on circular ring road and metro mono train from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur till Akhnoor.
Prominent among protesters were Prem Sharma, Rajinder Sharma, Sahil Sharma, Parveen Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Ricky Singh, Som Kumar, Sandeep Sharma and others.
