JAMMU, Sept 27: Bishnah Police arrested four thieves including a juvenile and recovered stolen item from their possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady namely Santosh Kumari, wife of Prem of Ward Number 12 with Police Station Bishnah stating therein that some unidentified persons have stolen gold ornaments, cash and one LED from her house situated at Ward Number 12 Bishnah.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 167/2022 under sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta acted swiftly and with the help of technical assistance arrested four thieves including a juvenile.
The three arrested thieves were identified as Karan Kumar, son of Surfa Ram of Ward Number 10 Bishnah, Sahil Kumar, son of Bachan Lal of Ward Number 11 Bishnah and Arjun Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of Ward Number 13 Bishnah. However, the identity of the juvenile could not be disclosed as per guidelines of the court.
On their disclosure, one stolen LED was recovered and questioning is going on for more recoveries.
Further investigation into the case is also going on.
