JAMMU, Sept 8: Elections for new office bearers of Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) will be held on September 30 as a notification in this regard was issued today by the office of JUTA Election Commissioner.
As per the notification, the aspirants can file their nomination papers by September 16 while scrutiny of the papers will be conducted on September 17. September 23 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature, if any, and the elections will be held on September 30.
JUTA elections will be held for the posts of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer. Prof Alka Sharma is the Election Commissioner.
