Justice Moksha Kazmi visits Ganderbal, inspects judicial work

GANDERBAL, Aug 6: Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Judge High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Administrative Judge of District Ganderbal today visited District Court Ganderbal.
During the visit, the Administrative Judge Ganderbal chaired a meeting to inspect judicial work and take stock of the status of infrastructure matters of the District Judiciary Ganderbal.
The meeting was attended by Principal District and Sessions Judge Ganderbal, Jeema Bashir; Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir; Sr. Superintendent of Police Ganderbal, Nikhil Borkar; Executive Engineer R&B Division Ganderbal, Judicial Officers and the members of Executive Committee of Bar Association
During the meeting, issues pertaining to judicial infrastructure including the land acquired for the construction of the new District Court Complex, Ganderbal was discussed.
Justice Moksha directed the Executive Engineer, R&B to identify space for construction of an additional building for accommodation of the Court of Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ganderbal, Bar room and Bar Library. The Judge impressed upon the judicial officers to ensure the speedy disposal of the cases.
After taking stock of the court functioning, the Administrative Judge also interacted with the members of Bar Association Ganderbal during which officiating President of the Bar Association Ganderbal apprised the Judge of various issues including the providing of Chambers for Lawyers equipped with necessary facilities.
The Administrative Judge assured them that their demands would be considered on priority and will be resolved in a time bound manner.
Meanwhile, the Administrative Judge also visited the land earmarked for construction of new District Court Complex, Ganderbal and directed the Executive Engineer concerned to furnish the latest updated status of the same.
Earlier, Judge was accorded Guard of Honour by the District Police, Ganderbal.
