JAMMU, Jan 2: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will administer oath to Justice Pankaj Mithal as Chief Justice of Common High Court for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh on Monday.
The oath will be administered at Raj Bhawan in the presence of all the Judges of the High Court and top officers of the civil administration, sources said.
On December 31, 2020, President of India Ram Nath Kovind appointed Justice Pankaj Mithal, first puisne Judge of Allahabad High Court as Chief Justice of Common High Court for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
