The lecture on the theme ‘Legal Profession: The Roadmap for the students’, was delivered by Justice J P Singh, Member, J&K State Accountability Commission and former Judge, J&K High Court.

For an individual to be an effective lawyer, he must have certain qualities in order to excel in legal profession like articulation, intelligence, power of argumentation based on facts and law and good comprehension skills,” he said.
Justice Singh also informed students about importance of participation in co-curricular activities and outreach programmes. He asked the students to participate in legal aid and legal awareness programmes to help downtrodden members of civil society and combat other ills, which have afflicted the civil society.
Earlier, introductory address was delivered by Prof Arvind Jasrotia, Director, The Law School while Dr Monica Narang, Sr Assistant Professor, Department of Law, conducted proceedings and delivered the vote of thanks.
