The historical abrogation of Art-370 except few regional ,dynastical parties standing on the ground of nepotism and one country which is facing sanctions of FATF the breeding ground of terrorist are in agony rest everyone is happy. Who won’t like to enjoy the rights given by constitution starting with Right to Education and now ending with the Representation of the People’s Act 1950 which was given under the concept of ‘Universal Suffrage’. It was guaranteed by the Great constitution of Republic of INDIA now applicable to J&K. In the absence of this Act the POJK refugees from Pakistan were treated as aliens in their own motherland not for one or two decades but for seven decades living in the largest democracy of world. They were treated in the most undemocratic way by snollygoster leaders of Regional parties and height was this that the INC (Indian National Congress) which claims to be the torch bearer of democracy in INDIA turned a deaf ear to their pains and sufferings. Valmiki samaj a group of families brought from neighbouring state of Punjab to clean filth of J&K with a promise to be given PR (state subject) of erstwhile J&K state four decades ago by CM of NC (National conference) were befooled as they were never given what they were promised. The only job for them and their kiths and Kins many of whom were even PHD scholars was of a sweeper and this was all happening in India the largest democracy of world with INC ruling at centre and NC in J&K.
In whole of the world where females have equal rights like males and even Islamic countries like Saudi Arbia provide them with same rights but how bizzare it was here that the girls were treated as second class citizens and height was this that a lady became CM of the state but girls marrying outside J&K continued losing their ownership rights of erstwhile J&K State which included voting rights. The only crime in the eyes of rulers of erstwhile J&K state which they used to commit was marrying outside J&K, even Talibanis don’t follow this ritual.No one in the modern world will believe that living in 21st century still any Gov’t can continue practising this nefarious Act. This was intolerable for a Party which strongly believes in Beti Bachao Beti Padao and how can you expect that we would have allowed such an ill practice to continue in J&K that too as a party which got freedom to Muslim women of India from the chains of draconian triple talaq act and that too when this was not followed in neighbouring Islamic countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan because they are not having parties like Congress and National conference where bigotry is an Ideology. Ghulam Nabi Azad a senior leader of congress won his first elections in 1980 from Maharashtra. All the important leaders from J&K who became national leaders have started their journey from other states. If this practise of excluding non residents had been followed by other states then what would have been the fate of these stalwarts one can easily imagine. Kamla Harris the first female vice president of America who holds the highest ranking female in US history is of Indian origin, Rishi sunak who is in the race to become the president of those who made us slaves for two hundred years is also of Indian origin. Thank God that these two countries don’t have parties like INC or NC, otherwise do you think, it would have been possible for them to even imagine holding these positions. We should learn lesson from these developed countries and if we aim to be developed by next decade then we should start thinking on these lines not allowing your own country men to come to J&K whereas any one from J&K can have same privilege in any part of the country. We should start living in today because this is new India where country is not one family or party but the whole nation in one family. We strongly believe in VasudevKutumbhakam where we own the entire planet but some people are hell bent on making J&K their dynastical property and we strongly object this..
Now when all are free to vote here and democracy got its true sense after an apathy of seven decades why is it disturbing leaders like Mehbooba Mufti whose own father contested 1989 Lok Sabha from Muzaffarnagar (UP) and then remained MLA from R.S.Pura in Jammu whereas Kashmir never gave this privilege to any Jammuite. For Congress the obnoxious part is this that the Act of 1950 was passed by mentor of congress Jawaharlal Nehru and we should not forget that if he wished to avoid J&K residents in this then he could have easily inserted that it is not applicable to people of J&K because ART-370 was imposed a year before this in 1949. But Nehru Ji never wished to do so but when all congress leaders were seen sitting in the Gardens of Gupkar opposing what was framed by the first PM of INDIA it was a farrago of congress men who were defaming their own ideology which no more exists in INC. So all those who are crying foul should know the history and I always pray that better sense prevails and such leaders start treating all human beings and citizens of India as Permanent Residents of one nation which is bestowed with bliss of largest Democracy of World.
