Srinagar, June 8: Jumatul Vida, the last Friday of Holy Month of Ramadan was observed with religious zeal and fervor across the Valley today with large numbers of people offering prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and Hazratbal.
Thousands of people thronged the mosques and shrines to offer Friday prayers and seek blessings of Almighty Allah.

In Srinagar, the main congregations were held at the Jamia Masjid Nowhatta and Hazratbal where thousands of people gathered and took part in the prayers.
Imams and Khateebs in their Friday sermons prayed for peace and progress and unity of the humankind. They stressed on purifying souls through greater dedication to prayer and seek forgiveness of Almighty Allah.
