UDHAMPUR, May 17: In line with COVID protocols and SOPs Juhi Manhas Pathania, Vice Chairperson, DDC Udhampur today kick-started blacktop work on Dhar road Balpur to Sundla (Babey).
Speaking on the occasion she informed the public that it was one of the poll promises made to people of Sundla/Babey and she is committed to fulfill the promises and the pace of development must go on even during COVID times. For a long time people of Sundla/Babey were facing a lot of trouble due to the poor condition of this road which is now going to be improved with the project work estimated at around Rs 33.00 lacs, she added.
On this occasion, Vice Chairperson Juhi Pathania called upon the people to follow the guidelines given by the Government and co-operate with the authorities. She also made an appeal to common people that there is no need to be afraid of getting tested. Testing provides proper information and it is necessary to win against the COVID crisis.
There is no need to panic and we shall overcome this crisis if we fight it together with dedication and discipline. She also informed that in the next phase, this road will be handed over to PMGSY for upgradation and will be macadamized till Babey and Ghar Samma Banj.
